Modular home; revise definition as used under the Uniform Standards Code for Factory-Built Homes Law I voted YES on this measure.

Mississippi Medical Cannabis Act; revise provisions relating to. I voted YES on this measure. Cleans up language and allows telemedicine for patients that are bedbound.

MS Juvenile Tobacco Prevention; raise age restriction to 21. I voted YES on this measure. Changes the legal age to buy tobacco products to 21 which mirrors federal law.

State vegetable; designate sweet potato as. I voted YES on this measure.

Mental Health First Aid training; require for full-time EMTs, paramedics, emergency medical responders and firefighters of governmental bodies. I voted YES on this measure.

Mental health; establish Division of Autism Services within Department of Mental Health. I voted YES on this measure.

Certificate of need laws; revise various provisions of. I voted YES on this measure. Removes the Certificate of need requirement from select facilities. The goal is to encourage health facilities to open in the rural parts of the state. 

Income tax and ad valorem tax; create incentives for developers to improve tax forfeited, blighted properties in MS. I voted YES on this measure. I Co-authored this bill; it will encourage developers to invest in our neighborhoods that have blighted properties by providing a tax incentive.

MS State Employees Paid Parental Leave Act; create. I voted YES on this measure. Provides eight weeks of PAID parental leave to the primary caregiver and two weeks of PAID parental leave for the secondary caregiver after the birth or adoption of a child.

Secretary of State; authorize use of Land Records Maintenance Fund to contract with vendors for maintenance of blighted properties. I co-authored and I voted YES on this measure. Authorizes the Secretary of State to utilize funds from the Land Records Maintenance fund to maintain state owned tax forfeited properties. This will take the burden from our municipalities.

Artificial Intelligence Task Force; create and prescribe responsibilities of. I voted YES on this measure.
